bro I swear your vids make illustrator on iPad so easy I can't get enough of watching them. I hate doing anything drawing related on my MacBook so illustrator on the iPad makes it so much more easy and relaxing

It is somehow getting worst over time. Like its unlearning. It used to generate the most obscure things perfectly... now it takes ages to execute a basic prompt and then comes up with laughable results.

I've had illustrator forever because I pay for Adobe CC but normally use other programs. I've struggled trying to work in Illustrator. I use procreate and love it but I have illustrator on my ipad too. I just followed this tutorial and it's a game changer for what I am wanting to do! Thank you for helping me discover I CAN actually use illustrator. 😅

Its limiting the style within the ABC forms but any vector shape or glyph I place ignores the form. What did you prompt to get firefly to render isolated to the reference image?

The Blend function affects all the layers below it. If you move the donut layer above the Blend layers it will not be affected.

I am unable to creare new project. Did they take it away? All I see is "start designing" then it opens a random community file.

It seems to be limited to that clay look? After I signed in to my account I do not have the ability to create new projects. All I can do is open an existing community project. No menu at the top. Did that happen to anyone else?

You can drag and drop the objects in the layer stack to change the blend order. You can also use the copy tool in the lower menu then paste on other objects to share material properties. Great video.

Blender is a powerhouse 3-D software that everybody wants to learn. So we go to UA-cam and search tutorials and have to watch a donut tutorial part after part, after part, which seems like it last 10 years. You pretty much made the same donut in 10 seconds in a 3-D space. Thank you sir!

The blending there is similar to Softimage's metaballs used on Terminator 2. In 1991. So there's that. Otherwise it's a bit Sketchuppy but way more up to date.

Well. When we talk about types with texture i would say its just a funny gimmik. But e.g. in package design we never would use this. I have no problem to illustrate this. But. For what? The application is super rare.

This was shown off at last years Adobe Max. The point of this app is the output can be exported to a vector and open in illustrator later. Have you tried Spline3D? The blending is called metaballs .. it’s been around since the 90s in early 3D modeling programs. blender has this built in.

If this will be updated to support modeling for 3D printing it should be a real game changer
